LG Display (CEO Hong Hyun-chul) is a company that has implemented smartening of life with lighting devices using LEDs. 
Its representative product is LED's SAVERLUX. A motion detection sensor capable of detecting movement of a person or a vehicle and a wireless communication module capable of simultaneous or sequential ignition between lighting are embedded. Through this, energy consumption can be minimized and energy can be saved up to 80%.
Based on LED technology to add convenience to life, LG Display has recently made high performance in the home appliance market.
Luna Square of L'Discover is a product that combines its patented technology with small household appliances. It can be used as a smartphone app using wireless communication such as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. In particular, Luna Square smart humidifiers are popular. After releasing the first version of the humidifier in 2018, it has been growing rapidly in the humidifier market by releasing "Luna Square Smart Humidifier 2," which sterilizes 99.9% of bacteria in the water in December 2019. 
This humidifier can control products with one app wherever the Internet is available. Since it is linked to KT's "Giga Genie" and Naver's "Clova," which are artificial intelligence (AI) speakers, it is also characterized by operating only with a voice command of "Let's turn on the humidifier." In addition, it is possible to design customized functions such as automatically turning on the humidifier when humidity drops, or automatically turning off when the user's location is away from home using a platform such as SmartThings.
It also has an air purifier function. The Luna Square humidifier even removes harmful substances and odors from the air by combining an air filter that filters 0.3μm (micrometer, 1μm is 1 millionth of a meter) particles smaller than ultrafine dust to 99.013%.
The combined humidifier of the LED is lower than that of a general heated humidifier by one-third.In addition, if the heating and humidification function is used with a complex humidifier capable of ultrasonic and heating, it can be heated to about 90 degrees, sterilizing up to 99.9% of the three major bacteria, Pneumococcus, and Staphylococcus. In addition, it has a large water tank of 4 liters to eliminate the inconvenience of frequently filling water, and the humidification amount can be sprayed up to 400ml per hour in three stages, so it can be used in the living room of 20 and 30 pyeong.
Since its launch, Luna Square Smart Humidifier 2 has sold more than 1,000 units a month on average, and it achieved sales of 600 million won last year.Meanwhile, L-Discover plans to communicate and sell directly with consumers through Naver Shopping Live at 11 a.m. on the 17th.
